About the Journal
The African Journal of Political Risk (AJPR) is a peer-reviewed biannual publication that surveys major developments within the political economy of various countries in Africa to interpret them for entities interested in understanding the nature of political risks and their consequences on businesses, socioeconomic stability, and general quality of life. It is targeted at public and private sector executives, research institutions, and academia to help these stakeholders make effective strategic decisions for their organisations. The publication reviews political economic trends in various countries, interprets drivers of change, and creates scenarios for the future. Published articles play out how various political economic developments may affect certain governance and economic issues. The journal will be available on online platforms from January 2024 as well as at the Annual Political Risk Conference to be held at the Sandton Convention Centre in September-November every year and nationally. The delegates will include Scholars in the field, fund managers, executives in listed companies, and government leaders.
